Today, we’re excited to share an important update: Excelmatic is becoming RowSpeak.

This is a brand evolution, not a product reset. The team is the same. The product is the same. Our mission remains exactly the same.

What’s changing is the name we use to represent what we’ve been building all along: an AI analysis workspace for finance teams that live in spreadsheets.

Why we’re changing the name

When we first launched Excelmatic, the name helped people understand our initial goal: automating tasks around spreadsheet files.

But as our product evolved, two things became clear:

1. We’ve grown beyond a narrow "Excel tool"

What we’re building today goes far beyond simple spreadsheet formatting. RowSpeak is designed to help SME finance teams analyze complex data, explain anomalies, generate investor-ready reports, and automate FP&A workflows—all through the power of AI. That’s a broader, more strategic product story than our old name could comfortably hold.

2. A name that reflects how you actually work

A big part of our product experience today has become beautifully simple: you bring the spreadsheet data, ask questions in plain English, and get immediate answers.

Instead of writing VLOOKUPs, our users are having conversations with their data. The name RowSpeak captures this perfectly. It reflects our vision of helping static rows, tables, and financial data become conversational and actionable.

What is NOT changing (The Important Part)

We know software changes can cause friction. Let us reassure you that nothing about your day-to-day operations will be disrupted.

• Same Product: You’re still getting the same powerful platform for reporting and AI-powered data analysis.
• Same Team: The engineers and support staff building the product are unchanged.
• Same Accounts & Data: Your existing account, historical chats, connected files, and ongoing work will continue as usual.
• Same Pricing: Your current plan and pricing are locked in. The name change alone does not change your billing.

What IS changing & The Domain Transition

While the core platform remains stable, you’ll start to see a few visible changes rolling out in phases. This gradual approach is designed to ensure maximum stability for your integrations and saved workflows.

You will begin seeing RowSpeak instead of Excelmatic, along with an updated logo, fresh brand visuals, and new copy across our landing pages and product UI.

The gradual domain rollout

For now, we will continue hosting the application on excelmatic.ai.

This means you may see the new RowSpeak branding while still browsing on the excelmatic.ai URL. This is expected and intentional. We are transitioning in carefully planned stages to avoid breaking links, redirects, search indexing, and your browser bookmarks.

Over the coming weeks, rowspeak.ai will seamlessly and permanently become our primary domain.

Is Excelmatic shutting down?
No. Excelmatic is not shutting down. We are simply rebranding the product as RowSpeak.

No. RowSpeak is the new brand name for the exact same company, product, and team.

Do I need to create a new account?
No. Your existing login credentials will continue to work perfectly.

Should I update my bookmarks?
Not yet. During the transition, excelmatic.ai will continue to work. Once the full domain migration is complete, any old links will automatically redirect you to the right place on the new domain.

Will support email addresses change?
Eventually, you will start receiving emails from our new @rowspeak.ai addresses. However, we’ll make sure all old contact paths and support tickets continue to reach our team without interruption.

Do I need to take any action?
No action is required from your side right now. Just keep doing great work!
