Excel to PDF questions

Is my Excel workbook uploaded to a server?

No. Workbook contents are read and converted locally in your browser. CDN requests load the conversion libraries but never include your workbook data.

Can I convert multiple Excel worksheets to one PDF?

Yes. Select any visible or hidden worksheets. Each selected sheet starts as a separate section in the downloaded PDF.

How does the converter handle wide Excel sheets?

It first chooses landscape orientation or A3. It never shrinks below the readable font-size threshold; if needed, columns are split across pages and the first column is repeated.

Are Excel formulas preserved in the PDF?

PDF cannot contain live Excel formulas. The converter uses the formula results saved in the workbook. Recalculate and save the workbook in Excel first if results may be outdated.

Does the PDF preserve charts, images, and exact Excel formatting?

No. This tool creates a clean standardized table PDF. It does not reproduce charts, images, macros, print areas, or every cell style exactly.

What is the difference between Excel to PDF and CSV to PDF?

Excel workbooks can contain multiple worksheets, formulas, merged ranges, and formatted values. CSV contains one plain-text table. Use this page for Excel workbooks and the CSV to PDF tool for delimiter and encoding controls.
