Couple Financial Dashboard Template

Couple Financial Dashboard Template

This Excel template is built for two‑person households who want a clear, shared view of their financial picture. It consists of three main sheets: Income & Expenses, Debt & Savings Tracker, and Dashboard. The first sheet lets you list each partner’s salary, side‑gig earnings, and regular expenses, with dropdowns for categories (housing, food, transport, entertainment, etc.). The second sheet captures all outstanding loans, credit‑card balances, and savings accounts, automatically calculating total debt, net worth, and monthly savings rate. The Dashboard pulls key figures from the other sheets and displays them in easy‑to‑read bar and pie charts, plus a month‑by‑month cash‑flow summary.

Couples often struggle to see the whole financial story when each person tracks their own numbers in separate files. This template solves that problem by consolidating everything in one place, giving you instant insight into how much you earn together, where money is going, and how fast you’re building wealth. It helps you spot overspending, plan debt repayment, and set realistic savings goals, turning vague conversations into data‑driven decisions. The visual charts make it simple to spot trends without digging through rows of numbers, and the summary tables provide quick answers for budgeting meetings.

Ideal for partners who share bills, plan joint purchases, or are working toward common financial milestones such as buying a home, saving for a vacation, or early retirement. Whether you’re newly cohabiting or have been together for years, the template adapts to any income level and debt profile, making it a versatile tool for everyday financial management.

How to use

  1. Open the Income & Expenses sheet and fill in each partner’s monthly earnings and recurring costs, selecting the appropriate category from the dropdown list.
  2. Switch to the Debt & Savings Tracker and enter all loan balances, interest rates, and savings account details; the sheet will auto‑calculate total debt, interest paid, and savings growth.
  3. Go to the Dashboard tab to review automatically generated charts and summary tables that reflect the data you entered.
  4. Update the sheets each month; the dashboard refreshes instantly, giving you an up‑to‑date snapshot of your joint financial health.

Expected benefits: By centralizing all financial data, you’ll spend less time gathering numbers and more time discussing goals, while the visual insights help you make smarter budgeting choices and track progress effortlessly.
